How to Order Your Solar Products

1. Find your Product

Browse our product pages which have been split into helpful sections: Solar Chargers, Solar Lights, and Solar Torches. If you are searching for anything in particular, just use the search option at the top of the page

2. Add it to Your Basket

To purchase a product, simply click on the ‘add to basket’ button. This will take you to the shopping cart. Here you will see the goods you have ordered as you choose them. Click on ‘continue shopping’ to continue browsing. Once you have made all your choices click on ’proceed to checkout’. To review your basket at any time, just click the basket at the top of every page.

3. Checkout and Pay Via Paypal

The checkout process allows you to check and confirm your order, provide your delivery address and phone number as well as pay using your card. Items can be added or removed up until the transaction is confirmed. We use Paypal for all of our payments to keep our clients as safe as possible when ordering from our website.

Conditions of Sale:

When you click on ‘confirm order’ Cougar Solar will treat the order as an offer by you to purchase the product(s) and will separately order the delivery services subject to these terms and conditions of sale. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your order.

If Cougar Solar accepts your offer, it shall confirm your order by e-mail. The terms of your order will not be filed electronically and will not be made available to you on request, so you should save and/or print off Cougar Solar’s confirmation of the orders for your records.

Any times quoted for deliveries are approximate only and Cougar Solar shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the products howsoever caused. If you would like to cancel your order for delivery services, you may do so at any point before the products in question are despatched to you. Once the products have been consigned to the third party delivery agent the delivery services will have commenced and it will be too late for you to cancel the delivery services. This however does not affect your ability to cancel the order for the products themselves.

All of our prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%.

Solar Heater Launch Offer

  • Prices listed are valid up until Friday 22nd November 2013. After this date, the full selling price becomes applicable.
  • The Solar Heaters will be out for delivery from December 2013 after the official launch at the Business Show. Email notifications will be sent out when the Solar Heater is to be delivered.
  • Once paid, should the need arise, the customer is entitled to 100% refund as long as the refund request is made in writing to with Solar Heater Refund Request in the subject line. This request for refund can be done any time up until 23:59 hours on Thursday 21st of November 2013.

    Should a refund be requested after the above date and time, a full refund will be made less a £49 administration charge. This is only valid as long as the Solar Heater has not been passed to the courier company for delivery. If the order is with the courier for delivery, then the applicable courier charges at the time will be deducted from the amount paid.

After the Solar Heater has been delivered:
  • As long as it has not been installed, the customer is entitled to a refund less the £49 administration charge and courier charge. The customer needs to retain the packaging in the condition it was delivered.
  • If it has been installed, then the customer is no longer entitled to a refund.

The instruction manual supplied with the Solar Heater needs to be adhered to when installing the Solar Heater.
  • Only persons that have moderate – intensive DIY skills should install the Solar Heaters. If in doubt, contact a local electrician to install.
  • If any parts are missing, contact your sales agent or send an email to with details of your order and parts that are missing.
  • If customer adheres to the instruction manual when installing and operating the Solar Heater and a fault develops, send an email to with as much detail as possible on the fault.
  • If needed, the customer will be informed to return the product back to Cougar Solar, where it would either be replaced or repaired (at the discretion of Cougar Solar). The cost of returning the Solar Heater to Cougar Solar will be refunded to the customer (as long as once assessed, there is a genuine manufacturing fault).
All requests for refunds will be assessed to ensure that they comply with these terms and conditions. Once accepted, the customer will be notified and will get the refund within 30 days of notification date.
